Pressure comp. with internal structure? (Read for clarity)

So I was thinking. If I built a ROV with the main electronics bay pressure comp'ed with mineral oil, could I have an internal structure within the oil (something like a water tight case)? My issue is that these cases aren't rated for the depths pressure I want to go to, so I was thinking pressure comping, then putting the case (the inside of the case is not comp'ed) inside the oil. Would this help me get some extra depth out of the case?

No you would most likely risk breaking the internal case... is there a reason why the case needs to be air filled rather then comped?
