I am planning on using a Turnigy 9X because I don't want to get into programming an arduino. I was looking into the different OSD options out there and need some help. I would like to see voltage, compass heading, etc. on my laptop.
A cheap osd that just shows voltage :

Or replacing the rx with a FrSky D8R-II PLUS 2.4Ghz 8CH Receiver with Telemetery :

Never even held one so I am not sure if it can give me the readings I want, using the different sensors that are available.
Any other options/ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

Also looking in to an OSD system. Still some searching around to be done.
Hope this helps
