I will be placing the camera in a housing so it doesn't have to be water proof and the reason I choose these components is because I am on a very tight budget $100 or less the cheaper the better but I am open to suggestions my main concern is if these are compatible
Are these compatible
Re: Are these compatible
Hey KBG,
you can use this components but it is a very cheep version. Think about using better hardware for having more fun with your rov.

Re: Are these compatible
Im using the same monitior for my ROV. The monitor is a very cheap solution and it is working. But the video quality ist not the best and in sunlight it is very hard to see something on the screen. Im using a GoPro cam. With the cheap cam you will see nearly nothing.

Re: Are these compatible
So here is my solution to get my ROV-video on big-screen.
Camera (TV-out)---> Video-to-VGA Converter ---> VGA(TFT)-Monitor, powered on voltage-transformer over car-battery.
VGA-Converter (~20$)
Voltage-Transformer (~40$)

I have seen reviews and watched videos about the camera it's good for the price I will go with it for now but it won't be permanent I am just ready to hit the water.
