Bouyancy, cheap and reliable

Hello.

I just wanted to maybe give everyone a tip on a cheap and very reliable buoyancy solution.
Floats used for fishing nets, made from hard plastic come in many various sizes and shapes.

For instance, in the link below (Norwegian only) is an example of one. The price is around $5 per piece.
The one in the link will provide 850grams of buoyancy and is rated to 500m depth. I have no idea what the English name for this type is.

At least I am planning to use something like this for buoyancy on my ROV.
Any thoughts?

Good post! I wondered how big these are, so searched "trawl net float 500m"

Good find.
I could not fin any Norwegian sites that also had information about the size.

Mounting these type of floats should be pretty easy, either you can use the holes, or you could encapsulate them in something.
