Hey Guys, how you all doing??
I'm here to say that we don't have only soccer and World Cup, but we can also offer homebuilt ROV's!!!
This ROV is for my specialization course in Mechatronics, my first experience and still there's a lot of things to be done.
My goal is to finish the assembling until september. I still have to receive some material that I bought from internet.
Even with all the problems, I'm positive for the work that still needs to be done. Feel free to give suggestions, because I still need to decide a lot od details.
It is always good to take the experience from specialists like all of you.

Re: ROV from Brazil,
Looks like you are off to a good start.

Re: ROV from Brazil,
Hello tcholas. Those couplings (?) you have used for the lights or camera look like a really good thing. I've looked closely at similar couplings in Australia but unfortunately they were much more bulky.
Re: ROV from Brazil,
Dear rossrov, these couplings are nothing more than a commom PVC Union.rossrov wrote:Hello tcholas. Those couplings (?) you have used for the lights or camera look like a really good thing. I've looked closely at similar couplings in Australia but unfortunately they were much more bulky.

Update 1 : Bilge Pump Control
Here is the bilge pump control system using the ESC BTS7960B and Arduino Uno.
Feel free to ask anything, I'm glad if I can help, as much as I need help in a lot of things.

Re: ROV from Brazil,
A few months later, many days and nights of work, here it is.
Soon I will be doing the test in the pool, then in the beach. More details in a few days.

It's looking great, let us know how the testing goes.

Re: ROV from Brazil,
I made 2 tests and It partially succeed!
The control worked ok, but the mains problems was that the left propeller fell off the shaft and the central bilge pump couldn't make the rov sumerge.
After a few modifications, I added weight near the border and silica gel inside the electronic the box, but the umbilical cable broke right in point of connection with the box, and I couldn't do more tests.
I made a video, soon I will post.
As I have time to conclude this work for the university, I can't spend more time modifying anything, I have to present the way it is.
