I am studying for my engineering degree in electronics and need a project for Capstone. I was thinking about building a drone but I saw this website and decided to go this route. I'm into kayak fishing salt water and figured I could build one of these small enough to launch from my yak. Looking forward to asking questions and learning more.

Welcome to the party!
My sister's a Masshole too.
I don't get many opportunities to use that word so I had to slip it in there.

Re: Hello from Massachusetts
I'm back! After a disappointing Capstone project (I passed but not with flying colors as I had imagined). My design left a lot to be desired. I want to re-attempt this project so I scrapped my original after stripping out all the stuff I bought for it. Heads clear, goals are noted and I'm ready to make this work. I'm not doing this for a college project, it is strictly for myself so no pressure. I've been perusing the site (I never really left) and I can see this is really getting big. Looking forward to exchanging ideas with everyone and learning even more.
