Hi everyone!

Post by UnknownROV »

Maybe I should also say something about me. <>< So the idea to build a ROV came few years ago when I saw a video of Seafox ROV. I hadn't had much experience of electronics and stuff like that so I forgot it. Few weeks ago it came back to my mind and now I have ordered almost everything I'll need to build my own ROV. I have created a 3d model with Google sketchup:

That might not be the final design, I just made it for fun. :)

I have also few other hobbies. One of them is rc trucks and tractors. I have been hooked on them about two years now. Here you can see few pictures of them: http://plus.google.com/photos/114233590 ... banner=pwa :) And here is a link to the google+ album where I'll upload photos everytime I do something to the ROV: http://plus.google.com/photos/114233590 ... banner=pwa :)

It's a bit smaller than the previous one, size is about 30X30X30cm. :)

Welcome to the forum, the picture looks nice. One thing that I would reconsider is the fact that the props are outside the box. I think that keeping them in the box will prevent some damage.

Greetz,

Thanks. :) And thank you for that tip. I'll mount the motors like you said. :)
