Hobbyking boat ESC

Post by Nuckan »

Does anyone use boat esc's from Hobbyking? I've been experimenting with 30A, 50A and 90A. They are extremely cheap but the quality not so good. Sometimes they break. Sometimes they cannot be programmed. Currently I use 50A esc but don't seem to get the programming right, eg punchmode. When I run the motors I get a lot of power rightaway. In an on-off fashion. Does anybodt have working settings for this ESC?

I have tested one of the 30A type and two of the 50A type. All worked fine. I set the programming the same on all three using the corresponding programming board.

Thanks. I will try that. Also tried a couple of old quad motors I had laying around. 1100kv Turnigy cheap stuff. Seemed to work much better.
