This is my rov that is almost most complete. The tether is 60 feet long. The movements are as follows... Forward, Reverse, left and right turn, spin left and spin right, slide left and slide right, down thrust and up thrust. The camera is fishing camera that I purchased off of Ebay. I will keep you guys updated on my progress. Thanks for looking at my post.
Thanks lobster2b. The floor is Florence light diffusion panel. Home depot sells it. $10.00 bucks for a pretty good size panel. Thanks for the advice on the tether.. Will post more pics soon.
I would probably keep them longer and then just add weights to the bottom (as needed) of the Rov to set the actual buoyancy. (It's easier to add weigh the more floatation.) This way you can change the buoyancy quicker (buy adding or subtracting weigh) if you go from saltwater to fresh water or even if you add on devices such as manipulators.
