I have never used a cad program before and this is my first ROV http://micomarov.weebly.com/. I found the free Sketchup to be the best for me. I tried the freecad program and in my opinion it just was not as intuitive. To get a propeller in Sketchup go to File/3d warehouse/get model and search for "simple ship propeller". You can search for propeller, ship propeller, or boat propeller and you will get several models if the first search does not have what you want.
