Just putting out an intro to myself. Live in Manitoba, Canada and am looking to build a ROV and am wanting it to be able to go to the max depth of a certain lake around these parts. West Hawke Lake it is a meteor impact lake, so I want to be able to go to 300 feet and keep the construction simple.
If this works out well I hope to make a wheeled ROV for inspection of gravity sewer lines. (I work in a trench and lay pipe) It would be nice to view our work when we are at the jobsite instead of waiting for the inspection guys come out from Winnipeg for a preliminary which doesn't count for a certified inspection.
Yea so Hello from Flat Manitoba, where the ground is flat, the mountains are non existent and there are seas of crops.
