A little out of our budget around here but put me on the gift list!
Pretty cool concept for vertical control. Something along those lines could eliminate the need for a vertical thruster and reduce total current requirements. Maybe counterweights on an arm driven by a worm gear. Would only need 90 degrees of rotation. I think I'd still prefer the precision of a vertical thrust channel though.

that is pretty clever, but it is totally dependent on having perfect neutral buoyancy.
I wonder if they would sell the thrusters separately...

For more power, simply increase the number of hampsters per shaft! Very funny.
