Design question for pvc hull

Post by Rollindeep428 »

Hello everyone. First time poster with a question regarding a design I have. My senior project is currently designing an Rov out of pvc using a 6x6x4 sewer wye as the hull. We have it connected to 6 inch pvc pipes on both ends that are capped off. My question in short is will this effect bouyancy greatly and add too much weight for the thrusters? Here’s a picture of the frame and hull.
