Hello,
I am a hobbyist with an systems engineering background from Calcutta India.
Started building my first ROV, from 3/4" pvc pipes, powered by 6 x 1100 gph 12v bilge pump motors, home made cw & ccw brass props. I plan to control my ROV from a salvaged wired ps2 controller and a pair of arduinos. I am using an uno on the land control station and a mega as the onboard ROV MCU. All communications between the arduinos is through serial comm. There are 5 BTS7960 driver boards onboard to control the bilge motors. I plan to install a FPV 1000 TVL cam with a pair of servos on the ROV.
Would love to post some photos and ask my newbie questions as I move ahead with the build on this forum. So do please tolerate my ignorance !
