Greetings from the US

Post by Generalboard »

Greetings everyone!

I recently became interested in the concept of an ROV to explore areas that I could not in my scuba gear.

Hoping I can use the sources available here to learn the art of ROV construction.

Welcome from Montana. I have been building an ROV for the past year, but am stuck on how to control buoyancy. I became impatient and bought a ThorRobotics Underwater Drone 110ROV Underwater Robot Camera With Mechanical arm and Ground Station, is now being shipped, supposed to arrive in 2 weeks. It will only go 30 meters deep, but my homebuilt is made to go 120 meters.

This forum has not been very active, but there is a lot of useful information. Another good source is the ROV forum on RC Groups.

Like others, I want to explore where I can't dive.
