That is my intention to understand everything I write, that's why I write it in both languages, what I want to know is if you understand me well in English, when using the Google translator, I do not trust, there may be faults in spelling or meaning of the sentence, I beg you to communicate, to continue doing it with Google, or change the way to translate the text into English, thank you, best regards

It has a lot of work, debugging a library removing the parts that do not work for me and then making the program compile, and of course, since the connection instructions are no longer valid, the command does not work for me, and I'm stuck in solving this problem , for any other person with extensive knowledge of programming, my problems is very easy to solve, but it is costing me a lot to get out of this puddle, I hope to get it soon.

I do prefer that everything written on the forum to be in English (everything is just easier to moderate that way) but as long as you continue to post the English translations along with your Spanish I don't have a problem with you posting that way.asesorplaza1 wrote:

Re: comenzando desde cero (Starting from scratch)
thank you very much, is that my English level is not good, and I prefer to translate it so that I understand, and so clarify me too.
taking advantage of the occasion, you know of someone who has done his ROV project with Arduino, and who can help me to unblock the programming, it's costing me a lot to advance the most minimum.
It is very nice to refer to Bill Porter's bookstore, as everybody does, but then you have to adapt it to your needs, and that's when my problems begin.
I have seen a dialogue between two users who had programming problems in Linux, to do the project with a Raspberry pi, and they have solved the problems of the programming, but I have not seen anything similar in Arduino
there are only very precise questions, about some particular problem, of some part of the code, or how to operate the controller of some sensor, but not about the code in general.

I changed control 3 times, it does not work with Soni, nor with any compatible command, it is overwhelming, how easy it is to put it on the Internet, and how difficult it is for me to make it work, I do not lose hope of finding a code and an electrical scheme that work, but for now I have not found anything that helps me to make it work, everything I've seen the same thing happens, they start with Arduino 1, halfway and without saying why? they change to Arduino Mini, and suddenly without further explanations they go to Raspberry, is it so difficult to do it from the beginning with an Arduino Mega 2560, on board the ROV, and another Mega 2560, where the PS2 controller is punctured ?, I do not believe make it so difficult

Re: comenzando desde cero (Starting from scratch)
I have changed my command again and finally I found a library that helps me, to see if I can attach the link and the code
https://www.sinoning.cc/single-post/201 ... TALL-GUIDE
I'm sorry, but I was already overwhelmed, I could not be the dumbest character on the Internet.
I had a Shield for Arduino, with entry for PS2 wireless controller, and with this code, at least I see the buttons on the remote in the Monitor Series
and now, of course, I get a lot of doubts, for example
Why when loading the program PS2X_ArmCar_Shield.ino, open six tabs on the Arduino Ide, if they are supposed to reference the libraries used by the program
This shield covers the first two groups of input pins of the Arduino, covering of course the pins TX and RX, of the central block of pins, so for the serial transmission I do not know if I have to use other ports or the shield will allow me use those pins, we're already with the problems, I'll have to try,
At least this library does not have the part of the LCD code, and for me that's a good thing, I do not have to remove it, with the subsequent compilation problems
I consider this a great achievement, the truth is that I was already desperate, and I did not know what to do
now to see if I am able to communicate the two Arduinos, and if they want they will do some kind of case

Re: comenzando desde cero (Starting from scratch)
I finally found the solution, I changed control again, and I followed the steps of electrical construction of TechMonkeyBusiness, and the two programs of the fourth revision, both Master and Slave, and it worked for me, I have to debug a bit the code, because I will not use any of the sensors that are used in that ROV, and if I'm going to use different sensors, I already know how they work, at least in the transmission of data directly to the Monitor Series, but with a little patience, I hope to get it to work, in this program, the downside is that all this work is not seen, it's a question of reading the code, trying to understand it and modify what I need, but you can not take photos of that progress.
Right now I just have a mess of cables on the table, which connect me the two Arduino Mega 2560, with two brushless motors, with their two car ESC, to change the direction of rotation of the engines, a few leds, and a little more.
What I have discovered (during an accident), like all the great discoveries, are these engines when they have been working for 12 volts, on the table they get warm, and that gives them the air produced by their own movement, which means that when you put them in your watertight compartment, where they will not have clean air to cool them, they will heat up a lot more, I have investigated a bit, and it turns out that in RC boats, they use ESCs and refrigerated motors through a circuit open water, with the movement of the boat there are pressure differences within the pipeline, which causes water to enter on one side of the circuit, passes through the ESC, passes through the engine, cools them, and then leaves the boat hot water, lowering the temperature of the ESCs, as well as the engines, I am thinking how to make this water circuit inside the ROV, as under the water I will have a different pressure than the ones that have the On the surface, I thought about putting a small water pump in the circuit, to help force the passage of water inside the circuit, I do not know if it would be a good idea, is there someone who has done something similar, and who has worked

Hi,
Just in English since I speak virtualy no Spanish. Instead of water cooling attach your ESC to something that transfers heat well and mount it to the outside of the hull to use the mass of cold water as a cooler. Sounds safer then placing tubes in the inside (the pressure at 5 meter depth is a lot higher then on the surface and that increases the change of a leak).
Enjoy building

Re: comenzando desde cero (Starting from scratch)
for the moment I keep trying to move forward and I have placed the engine in its "cartridge" with the propeller and water collector in place to see how it is, and I have achieved this, to get an idea of how it would be in place

I still do not know what cable to use, to carry the current to the motors, if the one that is used in the automotive industry for the light of the trailers that has five cables, or another one that is also used for the trailers with seven cables, the thickness of the hose is practically the same, the only thing is that it has more cables inside - 01.jpg (26.28 KiB) Viewed 8379 times

This is how it should be, at the moment I only have it presented, that it is not stuck, to see how the pieces are in their place, but I think it is too fair, I do not have space between the horn, the axis and the blue collector, can introduce a pliers and can tighten the propeller to the shaft, the idea is good, but I have to do it a little longer, and put some piece to screw the collector to the stuffing box - 09.jpg (37.33 KiB) Viewed 8379 times

Re: comenzando desde cero (Starting from scratch)
I finally decided to do one of the things I was most afraid of, soldering components to the pcb board
