I did not expect this question to be my first post (I have many questions, pressure transmitters, thrusters, cameras, communication, other sensor, etc!) but I find myself currently looking for Battery options.
I see Lipos, what does the C mean in eg'5000mAh 4S 30C'?
What other battery options are there?
How about rechargeable sealed lead acid batteries?

Re: Batteries
The C rating defines how much current that battery can deliver safely.
In your example:
5000mah is the same as 5AH. Don't know why they use mAH for these, but they do. So mAH devided by 1000 gives you ampere hours.
5Ah x 30C = 150 amps
If the battery had 20C it would "only" deliver 100amps.
I would not trust this 100% though. some cheap batteries might not be able to deliver what it claims.
Li-ion batteries would be a good alternative. they should be safer and still be light. Price will be higher.
Led acid I don't really know about. Easy to find and cheap, but heavy and bulky?
