Hi everyone,
I've been surfing these forums for a while now researching a suitable method of building my ROV. Now I've got a plan I thought I'd better pull my finger out and register. No doubt I'm gonna need some advise from the gurus.

Well here's what I've done since my first post above. I mashed together this contraption I call the ROV Nudibranch. It's still in it's testing phase but I should have some photos and videos posted in other topics soon.

Your tether intrigues me. Got any more details on what you did there?

It is Cat6 cable wound into 7mm polypropylene rope, as the poly rope is buoyant it counteracts the weight of the cat6. Seems to work ok in the pool with about 10-15m wound out but not sure how it will go once I have a lot more wound out. There is a 100m of it and it also provides a bit of strength in the tether if I have to drag the ROV back in.

Muy buen trabajo, mi curiosidad es como has conectado la pantalla de la sonda, al sistema de control, tengo una pantalla de sonda como esa, y me gustarĂa aprovecharla, un saludo.

Very good work, my curiosity is how you connected the screen of the probe, the control system, I have a probe screen like that, and I would like to take it, a greeting
