Epoxy for hull penetrator

Post by Jaman42 »

Hi guys,
I read some are using Loctite Marine Epoxy, from what I understand it cures underwater. Does it has any other advantages than that? I mean will most easy flowing epoxi work or are there some special attributes to look for?

The reason I ask is that I can't seem to find Loctite Marine Epoxy where I live but maybe I need to look harder.

I use ProSeal which I found a a local dive shop. It take a day or so to cure but it is also somewhat flexible when cured.
