I'm glad he made it there and back, I guess there wasn't much to see down there from the sounds of it though.

There may not be much down there, but we learn a lot from him. I doubt that any of us will ever dive as deep, but here is something I have learned from his projects, including the Titanic dives.

1) Blue/Green LED's work best. I often thought that wavelengths could have something to do with what we see underwater.
2) A combination of Spot Lights and Flood Lights work best. If you watch "Return To The Titanic" you will see them use Spots and Floods independently and together to create what works best at the time.
3) On that film they used a massive Down Lighting platform. Because it seems that lighting coming from different directions works better for the cameras.

So, all of this couldn't have come at a better time for me. I have 30 Watt MR11 Spots mounted on my ROV. So now I am going to add Blue/Green Floods. Plus I may add a Down Lighting Platform. I see no reason to reinvent the wheel. I'm going to dive on the Wisconsin this summer. Thanks to Mr. Cameron and his team for making my job easier.
