The ROV will have two motorcycle style 12 volt batteries onboard. The 2 holes in the back cap are for leads for charging the batteries with out having to remove everything to get at them. Just open the front plate to let the batteries vent during the charging process. The inner collar in the head light is to hold the lexan. Which will be epoxyed into place. There will be lexan over the two camera windows as well. The bigger hole is for the cctv live feed camera and the offset window is for the hd video camera that will be recording.

Thanks. Thats just a quick coat of primer to prevent anything from rusting during the build stage

Still plugging along. Making some good progress. Most of the metal work is done. Lenses are all in place epoxed and sealed.

Started the electronics! finally! Got all the relays wired in and working nicely. And batteries mounted. Hard to tell in the pic but there are two 5 amphour batteries under all those relays and wires. The relays work nicely through the 500' teather. Well back to work.

Had to make some changes to the floats after adding all the electronic and batteries.
