I have now make a moulding forms to Tether, just waiting for potting compound from 3M.

moulding forms image:

to olegodo:
Yes,i running power down to the tether, 144 Volt DC :D is not sow dangerous,if you connect properly and use fuse.
My rov need only 1 amps to drive all 3 Thrusters,Light and system.
Right now,i live in Oslo.

I have now tried the moulding forms i have made for Tether, but when you struggling in the cable very hard, the small wires inside the Tether break of.

Sow i throw the moulding forms in garbage,i made two aluminum tubes instead, i use first epoxy then the potting compound from 3M inside the aluminum tubes, the aluminum tubes should be on.

Finally the Tether moulding is now strong.

I have now try the Tether and i have discovered a small problem.
When i drive the Thrusters, light or camera tilt i get some flickering on the screen, i will take a movie of the flickering.

When i connect the control panel directly to rov, ther is no flickering on the screen. When i drive the Thrusters, light or camera tilt, sow i thing i most use a pair of Video baluns :D maybe (i will try that first)

Right now, the video wires in the tether (two 26 awg) is connected directly from camera to control panel.

You may also be having interference from using the same power source. I have baluns and seperate power for electronics (camera) and motors which fixed my problem.

I have now add,one LC power filter on the OSD board and use video baluns, everything is working fine now, with the seabotix tether.

No more flickering on the screen :D :D

Now,i need to test the rov in seawater, and see what happens. :D

I have now test the rov in seawater and i discovered a major problem with the rov.

Is like a whale or seal, front of rov is diver first, sow the rov running not straight ahead, otherwise it works great.

I have try to move Thrusters more down, but its the same.

I will try to move Thrusters more forwards to front if possible,
or try to mount them on the outside and see what happen

The frame i use now,is only a test frame, sow i need to make a new one, after i have found out where i can mount horizontal Thrusters.

I have try to move Thrusters more backward, but its the same, front of rov is diver first.

I have now move horizontal Thrusters more down and more forwards to front, but front of rov is diver first.

I think those Magnetic Coupled Thrusters is to powerful ,i need to slow down speed.I have 4 gear on all Thrusters(40,60,80,100% speed), if i use gear 3 or 4,then is like a rocket.

I think, i need to use the vertical Thrusters to help to get rov running straight ahead, when i drive rov forwards.

I will use the MPU-9150 to run the vertical Thrusters.

I will try that, and see what happen.

I have now slow down the speed on these two horizontal Thrusters to 1000 rpm and the rov go straight ahead, but only on 1 gear.

I will take a movie soon of my rov in seawater, but i need to improve the rov to go straight ahead on 2,3 and 4 gear.

I have also try MPU-9150 to run the vertical Thrusters, but i have not find out how to do it yet. :(
The MPU9150Lib.cpp file need to be modify again :o :o

Control Systems is working good and is stable with these parts:
DFRobot 50A Current Sensor
MS5803-14BA Pressure sensor with Temperature Sensor
MPU-9150 9-axis IMU
Phidgets Precision Temperature Sensor

All information displayed on the screen with MAX7456 On Screen Display.

right now I missing auto depth and auto heading :D

Camcorder i use is a Panasonic Lumix HC-V160 is working awesome.

I have access to all button (Photo,Rec,Zoom,on/off,Meny) on the Camcorder,I use the keypad and PS2 Controller to control it.

I can switch video, between Main camera,Hero 3 and Panasonic Camcorder.

Now I completely done with my ROV,i will now test it in seawater and have some fun with it. :D :D
Everything is pressure tested to 10 Bar,sow ROV shall not leak.
I will upload a movie,when i have test it.

I have upload my Last code, with Keypad and all libraries her:
