I was thinking that i may want to have the manipulator system on my rov to be pneumatic. An on board air supply is out of the question... so i would need a direct airline down the tether. Vinyl tubing should handle the kind of pressure i want just fine (or is there something more flexible i could use???) but i was wondering how thin i could go before i would risk significant pressure loss/not enough volume of air getting to the rov in a set period of time? I am only using small cylinders for the manipulator so i don't need tons of air.

I want it to be as this as possible and as flexible as possible... thoughts?

Thanks.

for mate rover we used 3/16 inch vinyl tubing and it had no problem draging 30 ft of it while compressed.
