Any way to mount a spear gun on a ROV like a small Saab?

Not sure about the lasers but it might not be a bad idea... check out one of my other posts HERE

On a serious note... I'm sure it could be done but you might want to check local laws first, you might run into some conflicts with sport fishing regulations or something along that lines. Then there's the fact that you would only get one shot.

Sounds like a great way for a fish to take your ROV away from you.

I had a friend spear a grouper once with a sling which was on a lanyard around his wrist. The fish took off straight down with him hooked to the fish. He managed to cut the lanyard at about 30+ feet. Lost the sling and the fish.....but not his life.

Just sayin.

Yeah you are right! A good way to lose your ROV or do considerable damage to it. With the fish thrashing about it could mess up a tether or lights or the frame depending on how strong it is. plus its would be heavy with the ROV and a fish attached to it.
