Re: ESC & Arduino Question

ESCs dont care what provides the voltage (lipo, lead-acid, etc) as long as it is within their specified range. (6-24v dc or what have you)
So yes, you can power them off AGM batteries if you want.
That is how I power my thrusters in my test tank.

Wow, that shroud looks great!
Can't wait to see what kind of results you get out of the assembled thruster.
Keep up the good work.

Since you are on here... there has been some conversation as of late about nozzle design, (kort, rice, etc.) and I was wondering if you could share any insights you might h...

Re: Kort nozzles

No, you can't get in trouble unless you are profiting (monetarily) from someone else's patented material.
If you are giving away a file, you aren't profiting, and hence, in the clear.

Then again, if you look here... http://archives.marinetech.org/rov_competition/2012/technical_reports/The%20Geneva%20SchoolTachyon%20Robotics%20-%20Technical%20Report.pdf in the propulsion paragraph, they have a solidworks profile of the "rice" nozzle they used and the corresponding test r...

Re: Kort nozzles

actually you can just look up their patent and see their drawings on Google patents...
since it is a design patent drawing it has to be more than representative...
