I have bought the same sensor and plan to fill the hole with grease. I think that will be enough to prevent the corrosion.

The problem with water inside a tank is that you will have waves on the water surface every time you accelerate or "brake". This can cause the ROV to get very unstable.

On the computer I suggest to have one frame with the main front camera and a second frame to toggle the other cameras.
