Yes, that would be a problem if the outer jacket tore! I was planning to fill a short section of the jacket with silicon or epoxy, before it attaches to the hull, to make sure that wouldn't happen. Hi,
I have bought the same sensor and plan to fill the hole with grease. I think that will be enough to prevent the corrosion.

The problem with water inside a tank is that you will have waves on the water surface every time you accelerate or "brake". This can cause the ROV to get very unstable.

On the computer I suggest to have one frame with the main front camera and a second frame to toggle the other cameras.

Another configuration is to have three cameras: Front, back and down.
