Nice design.
How do you keep the rings into which the bolts screw in, onto the tube? and how did you make the cylinder water pressure proof?

Re: 10 m USB Extension cable with USB Hub
I had to use a PAL video camera with Baluns at both ends. So far with 60m of cat 5 cable it works OK - there is a little noise but it seems acceptable.
If you find a USB 2 extender that works, would you post it as it would be very interesting to try it.

Re: 10W led driver circuit
Hi, The circuit you have drawn was one I had considered using until I found a really useful little board that did exactly what I wanted. For my 10W LED driver I used the following board: https://www.tindie.com/products/RobG/4-channel-constant-current-led-driver-pcb/?pt=directsearch You get 4 boards ...

Re: what control package options are out there?
Hi,
Re the Asian control, I sent them several emails but never got a response. It is a pity as it looked to be well thought out and was also very low cost. Maybe you will have better luck getting hold of them.

Best wishes.

@Bubbles
How is your testing of the V3 control board progressing?
Did it / does it match your expectations?

Re: H3O team from Egypt
Looks like you designed and built a well equipped ROV.
Will you be posting more details of your design?
It would also be great to see some further underwater filming in the sea.
Well done and best wishes

Mapping the ocean floor
It has been said on many occasions that we have mapped the Moon and Mars better than we have mapped our own planet! The following is a very interesting article - from MH370 to the USS San Francisco, there is a need to understand and map our planet's sea floor much better than we do now! :sting: http...

Re: PI and I2C communication with a Arduino.
I wasn't clear what you would be using the I²C for.
I²C is an Inter-Integrated Circuit bus and as can only be used for short distance connections.
So, are you using it to talk to other devices solely within your top side or solely within the ROV?
