Re: Raspberry PI based ROV

Did a few test dives, they went well... but the camera view was limited, due to not so clear water.
Got also a little side-tracked, with other projects.

But i am sure, one day ill restart my project.

Re: Raspberry PI based ROV

Nodejs is working against ye <><

Did you try a fresh start with the Moki-ROV software (delete the directory and reinstall frim git)?

If that fails, just reinstall raspbian on the pi. And make sure you install node 10.36 only

Re: Raspberry PI based ROV

The i2c module bombs out, when using nodejs v12
Downgrade to version 10, and you should be ok.

Ill have to check my notes, (not on hand today) how to do it.

Re: Raspberry PI based ROV

Wait.. (Confused)

You have troubles, with the "no IMU detected" because you dont have an IMU installed.
Or does the program stop/halts after that message?

Re: Raspberry PI based ROV

Have seen your email, but ill just reply here.

- What kind of IMU do you use?
- Could you give us a output listing of the command "i2cdetect -y 1"
- Did you try to run "RTIMULibDrive" and what was the result?

Re: PI based ROv utilising..Node.Js..socket.io and HTML5 can

Why put the camera image on the canvas?

I think, you should put your camera image behind the canvas. And use the canvas as an overlay.
Play with the Z axis of the canvas a bit.

Re: Auto calibrating ESC and Arduino

Dont switch all esc on 1 relay (on / off) switch....

If you do, if you start one... You will start them all. (Been there, done that... Wasnt good)

Dont remember why it didnt work... Think it had something to do with the 12v side powering the esc's
