Re: Propeller Adapter
How long is the Hub? these say that they have a 23 x 5mm shaft so i would guess that up to around a 18mm hub would be OK. There may be others that are longer but I don't know, I'm not sure too sure how much you will like those props, the multi bladed (more than 3 blades) props don't seem to test too...

Re: 9 DOF MPU 9150 Sensor
They are designed to control planes and Multicopters, but basically they are a PCB that will accept Arduino code. All of the Multiwii stuff is written in C++ and can be edited etc in the Arduino GIU, but you do not have to use their code for your ROV, it wouldn't work, you can use your own code thou...

Re: 9 DOF MPU 9150 Sensor
Are using a Arduino to connect them too? The reason I ask is that the multiwii flight controller boards are loaded with sensors, gyro, accel, compass and more depending on the board. They also have a 328p or mega on board that can be programmed with your Arduino sketch. They also have motor connecti...

Re: Brushed / Brushless Motors
I have tried both the 30a hobbbyking and the 25a turnigy ESCs listed, no problems with the hobbyking esc but the turnigy escs seem to need constant reprogramming. I think the 10a would be cutting it very close, possible if the shrink wrap was removed and a real heat sink was put on where the small p...

Re: I'm jumping in!
WOW, with that motor combo I think it will be a rocket!
Be careful of any exposed electrical connections, especially if diving in salt water. Once back in the air they will corrode very quickly if there is still power available them, I mean like in minutes..

Re: 360 Camera Wiring
I have a similar camera that I bought on ebay, uvc1.jpg In the case of this camera it rotates one way then stops and reverses the other way, so no problem. If you want continuous rotation you will need a slip ring inside your housing, this will add bulk but achieve what you want, they are relatively...

Re: Oil filled or Water filled or both?
The propellors I am using are these http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/3-blade-52mm-nylon-left-right-rotation-propeller-prop-3-16-rc-boat-p491-/271267151508?pt=AU_Toys_Hobbies_Radio_Controlled_Vehicles&hash=item3f28c83e94 They are cheap and nasty but do the job for now. Thankyou for the offer to print s...

Re: My ROV
Continuing on with the topic of navigation.......... At this stage I'm still trying to get my OSD sorted out so that it displays a more intuitive method of navigation. I had the ROVs' bearing displayed on screen, I have since changed that to have the OSD show cardinal points, this is the lcd version...
