Update: so after realizing that the wireless PS2 controller signal would not easily travel though the tether i added two K8023. i did have some trouble hooking the K8023s to the PSC28A outputs but all is good now and every thing is happily working. sadly i did lose the ability to latter upgrade to P...

soldering a wire to the antenna isn't going to work. antennas are tuned components. it may just look like a piece of wire, but it has very specific dimensions.
Ive heard of guys soldering from antenna to antenna via tether.

PS2 controller wireless fail
so this PS2 controller system is working so i thought but after fully testing the RF signal is not going down the tether. Any advice i soldered the tether to what i thought was the antenna but not I'm not sure. please help the board is a MAR105 C -1 i have a send to the rov after c124, i wonder what...

I was having the same problem and i have no room for a separate battery pack. I just put the resistor and cap in. Its works like a charm

I use a Go Pro the cam has grater depth rating than my ROV.
but the vid off the screen should look good? if not you may have a conditioning problem you should look in to
