Re: Control Software released
Yeah I can see how that can happen. I tried playing with VB some years ago, nothing even looks like anything. Thus why I finally bought a "FEZ", FEZ stands for "Freakin Eazy". It may not be, but the community that TinyCLR has created and the support documents and information help...

Re: Arduino boards.
Well I posted it.. You can find it either on my site.... http://rov.cncbasics.com/ or I made a Wiki page that is set up by the TinyCLR.com site at ... http://www.microframeworkprojects.com/index.php?title=ROV Take a look around on the Wiki site, there are also many other projects on there that may r...

Re: Arduino boards.
PaulC, If you read my response on Phidgets on this thread http://www.homebuiltrovs.com/rovforum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=39 , it's not an Arduino, but it's an Arduino compatible and a C# .NET Microframework based package with an Arduino pinout. So basically, I am building something similar with a Pa...

Re: Pressure Sensors
PaulC,
Yes very interested.
I thought about using oil sending units from a car, but I am not sure what their max rating is also.

Pressure Sensors
Anyone use Pressure Sensors to measure the water pressure around the ROV?
Can't seem to find anything that is greater than 100 psi?
Any help would be great.

Sonar/Depth Sensors
Anyone have any thoughts or way to go about Sonar or a Depth Sensor system. I have been kinda looking and I don't know really where to start. I guess I would like to start with something similar to a fishing depth sensor system, but with my MicroController I have a couple of Analogues open that I co...

Re: Phidgets SBC for total ROV control
I am in the exact same spot. I eventually jumped in and found this site called TinyCLR their site is http://www.tinyclr.com Well I ended up buying a couple Pandas because the pre-release price was right. There are 60 IO with some analogue and 6 PWMs on it. As far as video, I am just planning on a se...

Re: Welcome to the Forum.
Hey Steve, great to see you put together a forum. Mike Peterson from Minnesota. I exchanged emails with you a bit. Anyways, been slowly working on my ROV, not too much progress but I did enter the world of Micro Controllers and have learned alot. Will be sharing once I get it all wrapped up. I have ...
