Welcome to the forum... Unfortunately there is not much activity these days but there's still some good info on here so I still keep it going for the time being.

Re: ROV Dive to 10-20m

Besides the build threads here for what people have already done... A lot is going to depend on your budget. 10-20 meters isn't too deep so you might be able to get away with PVC type housings. Re: Independent/Combined Thruster Controls

Normally with these types of switches you just drive it like tank control... just push both switches up to go forward, both back to go reverse, and one up and one down to fast turn. Is that what you are currently doing and just want something different? or is that method not working?

Re: A Control build for the defunct Navatics Mito

I almost bought some off brand (so to speak) ROV like this a few years ago but decided against it for the very reason of what happens if the company goes out of business.

Might be a fun project still though... Be interesting to see what becomes of this.

If you've ever though about making a tracked ROV...

Pretty cool video of a Tracked ROV made by Daniel from rctestflight I'm not sure if it's the best idea but cool concept anyway. We'll have to see if he progress with the idea.

Re: Rov Reboot (3D Printed Rov)

CUBE-Rebootl-162.jpg I updated the bracket slightly just to keep the flashlight from spinning while trying to turn the end cap to turn it on. CUBE-Rebootl-163.jpg Here both diver lights have been mounted. CUBE-Rebootl-164.jpg They may be a little to spot lighty (is that a word?) but I’ll have to ge...

Re: Stingray ROV

No way around the scattering or crap in the water (just a fact of ROV life) but I'm very impressed with the quality of the Pi camera. I always was curious on how well they worked because it seemed like anytime I saw BlueROV footage it was always shown with an add on Gopro and not the main camera. Mi...

Re: The borad has been fixed..... I think.

It took a little time to figure things out but it seems like upgrading the software finally did the trick and we didn't lose anything thankfully.
