Good morning.
A very nice design of engine capsule.
I hope it's really functional, given the difficulty of the magnetic coupling.

Re: Arduino/Teensy transmitting over RS485?
Good afternoon Welcome to the world of those in need of help in controlling our ROVs. On this page, well known in the forum is built an ROV controlled by a Play Station 2 controller, which is an analog controller with two joysticks and 12 buttons / switches, using Arduino. Therefore, it will be very...

Good morning, welcome to the forum from Cuenca (Spain). As you can see in the forum, there are many ways to build an ROV, if you want to build a simple one I advise you to study this page. http://www.homebuiltrovs.com/ If you like electronics, you can study this other, with some minor changes, you c...

Re: asking for possibility of ROV
Good evening from Spain.
you can build your ROV as you like. It is not essential to put a thousand sensors. If you put only the engines and the video camera, you will have an ROV, and if you put a lot of sensors, you will have a more complicated ROV to build and program.

Good morning.
You can not directly connect the USB output of the video camera to the CAT6 cable, you must use the so-called "Video Balums", read the publications of how to connect the video cameras that are in the forum.

Good morning.
For the price that video cameras have today, I do not think it is worth fixing that one, taking into account that according to the photo, you are missing the electronic control board, and several other parts.

Re: New ROV Concept Discussion
That's basically the idea we all have when it comes to making an ROV. What control system are you going to use, analog (switches), or digital (Arduino or Raspberry)?, you have to power both the ROV and the buoy and the base station, how? Lead, Lipo, Lithium batteries. These are just some questions t...
