Re: my rov version 2

sounds very good! Good job! I believe that in a round shape it will have a better hydro dynamics, yet it is a good job!

Re: Using a Load Cell as a Depth Sensor

Did you performed any voltage readings and comparison to depth? The voltage output directly proportional to depth?

Re: Using a Load Cell as a Depth Sensor

Thanks guys! Awesome support from you! I think I'll order the sensor http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/G1-4-Pressure-Transducer-Sensor-0-10MPa-for-Oil-Fuel-Diesel-Gas-Water-Air-/201461853073?hash=item2ee80feb91:g:YzsAAOSw5VFWOxR~#shpCntId , then with some sort of blather or a flexible tube with oil in it an...

Re: Using a Load Cell as a Depth Sensor

Thank you all for your reply. My depth target is 300 meters. After seeing your replies I went to ebay and I found this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/G1-4-Pressure-Transducer-Sensor-0-10MPa-for-Oil-Fuel-Diesel-Gas-Water-Air-/231743595178?hash=item35f4fea2aa:g:a78AAOSwQPlV7ldz&vxp=mtr To be honest I...

Using a Load Cell as a Depth Sensor

Hi all, I was wondering to use a load sensor such as "SEN-10245" as a depth sensor. The reason is that depth sensors are too much expensive and in my mind a load sensor should do the job... if we consider that 1 bar is 1 kg per cm2 so 30 bars are 30 kg per cm2. For my searches on the net a...

DS18B20 temperature sensor reading negative values

Hi, I'm trying to use the DS18B20 as a temperature sensor for my project. As a small trial project, I connected the data wire to pin 2 of my Arduino Uno and it reads the temperature wonderfully, yet when I send a command to turn on LED's connected to the remaining pwm ports the temperature sensor st...
