Well, threw the unit in the pool yesterday for a quick test-run. It works! Well, sorta. The polarity on the drive wheels was wrong so it went backwards but the suction motor was turning in the right direction. Sorry I haven't gotten back ya'll--sometimes work just seems to get in the way of the important things in life. :lol: Yes, that ebay listing is the motor and YES, I can unscrew the plastic gear-head. Yes, the motorblock is still available but I hate to spend $$$$ to fix what may end up being a $10 motor. :x I did apply 12v to the smaller motors.
