Re: A PVC pipe ROV
Ron, I'm curious to see how the vertical thruster works as well. I can tell you that when we place objects (like hands) an inch or two in front of the thruster it makes almost no difference in the amount of thrust. For gentle maneuvering I think you'll be fine. For heavy lifting it might be a proble...

Steve - Very nice! It's great to see some confirmation of our numbers on a different test rig. Thanks for doing that.

Re: BlueRobotics T100 Thruster (First Look and Testing)
Steve,
Great! Glad to hear that you like it. I'd love to hear about the rest of your testing. We have a few performance plots on our website, also attached here. It would be great to have some of the data points validated on a different test rig.
Best,
Rusty

Sounds like you might be getting a pretty large voltage drop at the battery or through the cable to the ESC. The thruste...

Re: Bluerobotics.com Inexpensive Thrusters
Hello everyone! Thank you for the kind words. We are very excited to be past our goal but we still have a lot of time left! @scubersteve - Thanks. Our nozzle design is based on a Kort 19 profile, like most thruster nozzles. We used it because of its commonality and the fact that it handles forward a...
