Well, I would guess that would not work very well. Either way, it would be cheaper and easier just to use a tether.

A simple solution is to make a waterproof housing of of a PVC pipe union with plexiglass for the window. (Shown on how to's page of the website)

Easiest solution would be to keep an eye on it and warn anyone nearby of its presence (and that it is not to be messed with).

You could paint your rov and tether in red or something and have a lot of visible sharp and jutting edges. Make it seem less appealing to mess with due to possible injury for handiling it.

Is that little battery enough power for your rov? I have to use a 12v motorcycle battery that is 22Ah for my rov.

No offense, but this looks like you ripped off OpenRov for its body design, thruster placement, and acrylic tube.
