Still a nice and slick design, in several messages are people talking about hull penetration styles but a lot of people use bare copper in epoxy (yeah you will end up using it afterall).

I did not do the math for displacement and depth corrections, but I think it would be a good place to start. Nice looking design. For the steppermotor, I would guess that they can handle just like brushless motors a bit of water. So place it in a wet compartment and only worry about the wire which need to come into the dry section. Other option is to replace the steppermotor with a servo, which can be boug...
