Re: Experimental ROV Design using Blue Robotics Components
After waiting approximately 20 hours I checked the vacuum in the two WTCs and found that it had only dropped 10 mm Hg to 550 mm Hg which to me is indicative of a good watertight WTC based on the previous testing of the individual WTCs. The slight loss of vacuum can be attributed to the vacuum line ...

If you are looking to modify the existing case... i have seen a few examples of where they take the backpack door, and mounted a grommet in that. This allowed the 30pin connector to be connected, and extended outside the case to the control system. Here is an example: https://csumb.edu/eel/camera-sy...

Re: Retro- Retrofit Seafox
Looks GREAT!
I had an issue with my DVR as well... are you using an SD card style DVR... double check your card quality. Class 10 or better... That helped on my end. I also had some noise issues... but i think that comes down to my decision to use the cheapest cables I could find!

Re: controlling ESCs with a joystick
you got it!
you might need to force the value of 90 to be sent during start up because many ESCs require a neutral signal (90) at start up...

Re: KR2 ROV
Hello All, Been making some GIANT leaps in the progress of my yet to be named ROV. Moved the build up to my parents place. They just completed an extension to their workshop, so i promptly moved in and claimed a corner as my own! Just a bit more space and tools for the build here than my Chicagoland...

Re: 3 Camera System Test
Did I say monday... I meant sometime next year! So... I finally got to testing the Expensive SD ULTRA card vs the cheap Class 4 Card... no noticeable difference between the video quality of the two... Think the poor quality in the Youtube uploads is due to YouTube compression. I guess you get what y...
