Re: otter box
I am using otterbox in my ROV. They are a pretty good solution as they can be opened and closed very easily with just two clips. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a safe waterproof housing. However they do add a lot of buoyancy to the ROV.

Would an IR camera underwater be sufficient or would I need to install lights to capture video?

2 Blade Propeller
After searching for quite some time, I have been only able to find the 2 blade propeller for my ROV instead of 3 blade or 4 blade that I desired. The smallest size that I have been able to find is 120mm diameter. The question is would it work for my ROV with bilge pumps of 1100 GPH. I intend to go t...

Heat Sinking of Electronics
All the circuitry that I am going to use in my ROV would be packed into a waterproof compartment inside the ROV. The problem is that this compartment is not going to be ventilated and the circuitry would get hot during operation. What are the methods through which I can provide a heat sink to my cir...

GPH of Bilge Pumps
I am trying to choose a bilge pump for my ROV. My aim is to go to 100ft. Can anyone give me a ballpark figure on what should be the required GPH of bilge pump that I should select? And on what basis have you chosen that? Like have you done any calculations? Plus what advantage does a higher GPH bilg...

Wattage of LED lights
What is the wattage of lights required for LEDs to travel in 50m of water? I have no idea about this since I am designing my first ROV. And will LEDs work better or the flourescent or halogen lights?

Re: Aluminium Frame
Hey Triton could you please share the image of your ROV? We needed it for our reference before finalizing the design.
