Worst case scenario; It does not work well and I need to replace it.

Thanks for the reply, Motors of that size is actually quite easy to find. Just check any 12-18V screwdriver. The manufactures don't shate thewatts though, so you will need to do some calculations. I am actually not sure if all that power is needed. I was thinking of trying to mske a rov using as man...

Prop size?

Hi there,

I am thinking of using 300W 12V engines for my thrusters. They run at approx 1200 RPM. Any suggestions for prop size?

I was thinking of going for something like 100mm pc fans but honestly I dont have a clue.

How much does your ROV weigh and what thrusters do you use?

I am trying to figure out how powerful motors I need for my ROV. I have looked at a few different options. If you could specify your ROVs weight and the power of your thrusters in watts that would help me out.
