Hello fyc, The main difference between the scout/explorer and pro4 would be the thruster output and operating voltage both bigger on the pro4 allowing a lot more tether to pull against a current etc, and at the end of the day they are designed to a budget to sell to a particular part of the market, ...

Hi Rover, i was wondering have you protected your windings on your motors people have mentioned they have or are going to apply a thin epoxy coat to protect them?

Hello Sunk, I just made something that looked prop like not very good when looked at close up.

Rovdude, Just to check when you epoxied the cables did you remove the outer sheath from each cable? This can be a route for water ingress In my first rov I used cable glands see attached pic, I removed the outer sheath then epoxied them into the gland I then epoxied the gland into the hole in the ot...
