Re: PPM signal on RC radio

Man its been a long time since I have been on the forums. Good to be back here :) Anyway did you ever get this sorted out Mg? I cant foresee why your system would be acting like that. The radio should not be overheating because when you plug into the DSC jack your essentially shutting off the RF mod...

Re: ROV Asia parts

He has them and is looking them over now and trying to see what makes them tick (what components are used etc.) that is all I know for now and he said this might take some time as he has other projects ongoing that are a priority. So I wait and see

Global plastics for the dome. http://www.globalplastics.ca/domes.htm The flange at a commercial plumbing supply place. The back end is sealed with one O-ring, a flat acrylic plate, a flange housing and a few stainless steel twist clasps. The deeper you go the tighter the seal. I will try to get time...

Then my best guess is that that particular RX is not DSC capable. Hard to find anything concrete in the JR manuals as to what is or is not DSC compatible. I have a R700 RX and it works perfectly.

Re: ROV progress

I am aware of what you should use. This is better suited for the job I suppose http://www.ebay.com/itm/DC-DC-100W-Constant-Current-Boost-Step-up-Module-Mobile-Power-Supply-LED-Driver-/171114893170?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27d73e0f72 But with that said I have operated two 100watt 5600k LED'...

Re: ROV progress

Yes it plugs into the RX on a spare channel. IE channel 5 in my case the gear switch. I am actually using it to switch on and off the LED power supply (line side) About 4 Amps. I have been in the water a few times, not happy with my tether not being neutraly bouyant. Trying to source a better thethe...

Re: Spektrum DX5e 2.4ghz / .10 Brushless motors / 30amp ESC/

Well I have found some mention while researching that the only two JR recievers that ARE NOT DSC capable are the R600 and R610. If this is a fact and your using one of these RX's that may be why its not working. If you have neglected to supply power to the RX via a BEC from an ESC or from an externa...

The only way I know you can test for the PPM signal is with an osiliscope. The tip should be the PPM signal and the shield (side) should be ground. I am still digging for information for you on that R600 RX. How are you powering the RX?

Re: Spektrum DX5e 2.4ghz / .10 Brushless motors / 30amp ESC/

Ok so what I have found so far.... it appears the RS600 should work fine and is DSC capable (not 100% confirmed via testing as I don't own one). It looks like the S400 has a "trainer port" only and from the manual there is no mention of DSC anywhere in the literature. My best GUESS is it d...
