Speakon Connectors
Has anyone tried using Speakon connectors by Neutrik? They look like they could be cheap, easy to use waterproof connectors. They have 2, 4, and 8 pole versions with each pole able to handle 40 amps. I linked a picture to the 2 pole version. https://imgur.com/QBxeXtS

I don't know if you still need help but McMaster has O-rings along with a bunch of other hardware. http://www.mcmaster.com/

I am going to make a modification to the thruster mount and I need the dimensions of the motor. Mine are on their way from China right now and I'm impatient...plus you...

Re: I'm jumping in!
Nice thrusters! I was wondering if you could be so nice to post the cad files of your thrusters. I might 3d print some for my new ROV I'm working on!

Props for vectored thrusters
After my last ROV, I discovered that vectored thrusters work best with equal forward and reverse thrust. The typical RC boat prop is curved in a way to maximize forward thrust sacrificing back thrust (that's why rc boats go fast forward but are REALLY slow backward.) This rules out boat props for ve...

Calculate most efficient motor placement
If I know how much thrust my motor & prop combo gives off, is there a way to calculate where it would be the most effective on a plane with 3 other motors. I would imagine that some overlap would waste thrust and spaced too far apart there could be not enough thrust hindering performance. The ci...
